Find out moreI love orthodontic treatment because it combines art and science in equal measure. There is only one thing more satisfying to me than creating someone’s perfect smile – and that is seeing the look on their face when you show them the finished result!
My mother was a nurse at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and my father was an artist, so being an orthodontist seemed like the most natural thing in the world to me. I love my job and I love working with the wonderful team at Drayton Dental Care. Above all, I value being able to contribute positively to people’s lives.
Professionally, since qualifying in 1996 at Guy’s Hospital in London, I have undertaken many years of study, including Specialist Orthodontic training in Bristol, where I held the post of Specialist Registrar in Orthodontics at the teaching hospital for three years. I have presented lectures both nationally and abroad, but I now concentrate on clinical cases, as that is where my real passion lies.
When I’m not in work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and twin children, ideally either playing tennis or skiing.
I am a general dentist with a particular interest in orthodontics and aesthetic dentistry. I believe that taking the time to understand each patient’s needs and motivations is critical to creating the bespoke smile that they have always wanted.
I work to build a strong, trusting relationship with each patient and aim to achieve a natural-looking smile using modern, minimally-invasive techniques and evidence-based dentistry. I like to create a calm and comfortable environment conducive to helping anxious patients overcome their fears.
I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Arad, Romania in 2004 and ever since I have been committed to deepening and broadening my knowledge, skills, and love of dentistry by completing a great number of advanced courses in orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
I have been providing orthodontic treatments with clear aligners since 2009 and I am also an Invisalign Clinical Advisor, mentoring and teaching other dentists on case treatment planning, while studying for an MSc degree in clear aligners at Bolton University.
Outside of work, I enjoy sports, travelling, music and spending time with my family… not necessarily in this order.
My main focus is my patients. I always devote time and energy to understanding their needs and offering them dental treatment in a relaxing manner, especially nervous patients and children. My patients say I am a calm dentist who engenders trust and strives to give them a comfortable, caring and relaxing experience.
I graduated from the Dental School of Athens University in 1999. I ran my own private practice in Greece until 2014, when my family and I decided to relocate to Norfolk - a place that felt like home from the first minute.
I have a special interest in clear aligner therapy, Invisalign. At Drayton Dental Care I have been working alongside our Specialist Orthodontist Dr Matt Clare, for 4 years, creating many beautiful smiles. I am currently doing a Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy.
I also have a special interest in endodontics (root canal treatments), and I completed an advanced certificate in endodontic treatment in 2018. I love doing composite bonding and minimal preparation ceramic veneers.
Having experienced many changes in my life, I love getting involved in charity activities and events that aim to empower and inspire people to overcome difficulties and go after their aspirations. I live in Norwich with my two sons. Even though my working days are very busy and my studies make them even busier, I always make time to be with them and cook for them every day. I love to exercise at my favourite local gym, as it helps reduce my stress and allows me to stay active and healthy.
Being a dentist has always been my dream and I have followed in my family’s footsteps of working in the profession. I graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2000 and worked in private practice in Bulgaria until moving to the UK with my family in 2008. Since then, I have had several roles in Norfolk treating both NHS and private patients.
I am a gentle, sympathetic and caring dentist and believe dental treatment can be a pleasant and stress-free experience. I am always ready to listen to your concerns and am keen to work with you to achieve the best for your dental health. I will help you feel confident and keep smiling.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and always strive to deliver treatments to the highest standards. I continue to upgrade my dental skills and knowledge by regularly taking part in courses and getting familiar with new materials and techniques.
I enjoy treating patients using Cfast, a fixed and effective way to straighten teeth in the smile zone (the front six teeth) and have recently attended a Smilefast course - a ground-breaking new concept delivering excellent aesthetic results. I am also interested in new scientific research, such as how lifestyle and nutrition can increase longevity and help reduce chronic disease.
In my spare time I enjoy walking in the Norfolk countryside, swimming, relaxing in the sauna, and spending time with my family.
I am a skilled and compassionate dentist dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to my patients. I earned my Bachelor Dental degree (BDS) from the prestigious Ain Shams University of Egypt, Cairo School of Dentistry, where I graduated with honours.
My commitment to excellence is evident in my continual pursuit of advanced education and training, ensuring I stay at the forefront of dental innovations and techniques. With over five years of experience, I specialise in a wide range of dental services, including preventive care, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic procedures. My gentle and patient centered approach ensures that every person receives customised care tailored to their specific needs and concerns.
I am passionate about creating healthy, beautiful smiles and take great pride in educating my patients about the importance of oral health.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, travelling and exploring, doing yoga and discovering new culinary delights.
I qualified from the University of Essex in 2021 with distinction and now have more than seven years of experience working within dentistry after qualifying as a dental nurse in 2017. I left this position in 2019 to pursue becoming a dental hygienist.
During my time at university, I was selected as the British Science of Periodontology student representative and was also shortlisted as Student Dental Hygienist of the Year at the Future of Dentistry Awards in 2020.
I am extremely passionate about promoting oral health, providing both preventative care and periodontal treatment, as well as delivering tailored oral hygiene advice to all my patients with a holistic approach. I pride myself in helping nervous patients feel at ease and making their experience with a dental hygienist a positive one.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, partner and family.
I started working at Drayton Dental Care in June 2018, returning to practice management from full-time dental nursing.
I have over 12 years’ experience in the dental industry and have played many roles within the dental practice in that time. I use my experience to lead and support the lovely team here at Drayton Dental Care and provide our patients with a positive and gentle experience when they visit.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching horror films with my partner and fussing over my beautiful cat!
After qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 2017, I have had the pleasure of working within NHS and Private Dental Practice's. This has allowed me to gain a vast amount of experience to assist in a wide variety of dental treatments.
I particularly enjoy minor oral surgery and cosmetic dental treatments - helping patients achieve their dream smile goals! Over the course of my career, I have worked as the Lead Dental Nurse which is a role I thoroughly enjoy, as it means I can support my team as a mentor and ensure the highest standard is being maintained for our patients, so they receive top quality care.
In my spare time, I enjoy getting outdoors in the fresh air with long walks or runs, yoga, and going to the gym. When I'm not doing that, you'll find me at my parents' house giving cuddles to their dog!
I joined Drayton Dental Care as a trainee dental nurse in November 2020 and I’m looking forward to qualifying and furthering my dental career. I have a special interest in oral hygiene and feel lucky that I have the opportunity to work with the team to further my knowledge and skills in this area.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walks, and going to the cinema.
I joined Drayton Dental Care in November 2021 as a trainee dental nurse and receptionist, with a keen eye for learning and a passion for helping people.
I can happily say that I have already met so many wonderful people, both in my team and the patients too. I have a particular interest in oral hygiene and love seeing how much of a great difference it can make in the patients’ teeth and how happy they are with the outcome.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and dogs and always love a good cup of iced coffee to chill and watch the TV with!
I joined Drayton Dental Care in March 2022 as a trainee dental nurse and receptionist. With a keen interest in oral hygiene, I feel I have learnt so much already and am looking forward to furthering my knowledge and putting it into practise.
It is a pleasure to be a part of such a happy, supportive and committed team and with their guidance, I look forward to helping care and assist our many wonderful patients.
When not at work, I like to keep fit by going to the gym and doing boxing. I also like going to the cinema and geeking out over marvel and DC films!
I have always worked in customer service throughout my career and I strive to use my experience to create a calming, relaxing reception area. I do what I can to help you feel comfortable and at ease, so please know that I am always happy to help wherever possible.
I am very proud to be working with such a passionate team whose high quality treatment is just part of our excellent patient care and to provide our patients with a positive experience.
When I am not working, I love to cook and do crafting. I spend time with my family, especially with my grandchildren. I also love tending to my garden and going for a long walk on the beach.
As usual friendly welcoming staff, always put me at ease, this dental practice has restored my confidence and faith in dental services. Thank you.
