Drayton Dental Care on School Road is delighted to launch the first in a series of educational oral health videos for our patients coping with the Covid-19 lockdown.
Click here to watch Drayton dentist Vasiliki Stamatoukou providing helpful dietary advice to our patients, who come from the communities of Drayton, Taverham, Hellesdon, Norwich and beyond.
We are indebted to Dr James Goodlink BDS MSc for his excellent book "Kick Sugar", which we would strongly recommend.
It is not a diet book, but a cookbook and a helpful guide to help you regain control in a society where sugar is everywhere. You'll learn the history of our addiction to sugar, what sugar does to your body, where sugar hides in food, simple recipes you can easily prepare with everyday equipment, affordable ingredients that are easy to source, and family friendly meals you can make and eat together
As you know, like many dental practices in the UK, Drayton Dental Care is temporarily closed to help stop the spread of coronavirus. Whilst we are doing this, we are keeping you and our team safe, but that does not mean that we aren’t thinking about ways to keep our patients’ dental health and gums in the pink.
Please click here to read more information about what you should do if you are unfortunate enough to have dental pain or a dental emergency during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Keep checking this page for more oral help tips and blogs – and we hope you stay safe and well during these unprecedented times.
